This section presents statistics on electricity production, consumption, sales, number of electric meters and water. Electricity production for 2003 has increased 5.4% from 2002 to 188.3 million kWh generated for the year. About 165.7 million kWh were sold. There were 12.4 million gallons of fuel were consumed. The average cost of fuel in 2003 was $1.128, an increase of 18 cents per gallon from 2002. Electricity production for 2004 has slightly dropped to 188.1 million kWh, a decrease of 187 kWh from 2003. About 166.2 million kWh were sold and about 12.4 gallons of fuel were consumed, slightly equivalent to the number of fuel consumption for 2003. The average cost of fuel has continually increased to 21 cents from the previous year, to $1.336 per gallon. There were 11,016 electricity meters installed by 2003 an increase of 7% from 2002. Residential meters make up 88% of the overall electricity meters. There were 11,003 electricity meters installed by 2004, a decreased of 13 meters from 2003. Residential meters make up 87.3% of the overall electricity meters. In 2003, there were 163,690 MWH (Mega watts per hour) consumed in 2003. With Residential consumed the most; 45,545 MWH, which is 27.7% of the total electricity consumption. In 2004, there were 166,205 MWH consumed in 2004. With Residential consumed the most; 46,164 MWH, which is 27.8% of the total electricity consumption. List of Tables
