PNRS Legal Notice & Board Hearing

The PNRS Board meets regularly every first and third Wednesday of every month. These meetings are open to the public and are held for the purpose of reviewing applications and making the decision to pass or deny them.

PNRS Legal Notice and Board Hearing – All applications submitted must first be approved to be reviewed by the PNRS Board. Upon acceptance of an application to be reviewed by the Board, public notification is given. For minor projects, the notice shall remain posted for 3 business days in which time no action on the permit can be taken. For major projects, the notice is posted throughout the process until a decision is made. Furthermore, the notice is posted in a newspaper of general circulation in the Territory at least one week prior to the Board’s review. The applicant is given at least seven days notice of the meeting. All notices mentioned above are posted in the Department of Commerce.

  1. COS Samoa Packing c/Aramoa Apa (01-0399L)
    Proposals for the construction of a new steel tank (21' 6.5" 0 x 42' 2.5")
    to replace an old one at the Samoa Packing Compound in Atu'u.
     

  2. Wanda & Laulii Alofa (01-0404-LB)
    Proposal to demolish existing structure and construct a new two (2) story
    structure with utilities in Tafuna.
     

  3. Petelo Uti (01-0471-LVB)
    Proposal to demolish existing commercial ruin.  Build a new commercial structure (100' x 80') with parking, and utilities in Leloaloa.
     

  4. Port Administration (01-0475-L)
    Proposal for an extension of the roof over the passenger arrival area (6680 sq ft) and roof repairs in two (2) areas of the airport in Tafuna.
